West & Wilk Windows Guarantee Policy
“Moving parts supplied and fitted by West & Wilk Windows are covered by a five-year warranty, subject to the written warranty terms, correct use, maintenance requirements and any stated exclusions.”
1. Free Quotations & Work Scope
All quotations provided by West & Wilk Windows are free and carry no obligation. Quotations outline the agreed scope of repair or replacement work. Any additional work requested outside the written quote will be discussed and agreed prior to commencement.
2. Warranty Terms & Exclusions
Our 5-year warranty applies strictly to new replacement moving components (such as window handles, hinges, locks, multi-point locking gearboxes, and door cylinders) supplied and fitted directly by West & Wilk Windows.
The 5-Year Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Accidental damage, physical impact, or vandalism
- Glass breakage occurring after successful installation
- Misuse, forced operation, or lack of basic lubrication/maintenance
- Structural movement, building subsidence, or severe wall shifts
- Existing components not supplied or fitted by West & Wilk Windows
- Products modified, altered, or repaired by unauthorized third parties
- General natural wear outside stated warranty terms
3. FENSA & Regulatory Declaration
West & Wilk Windows is not currently FENSA registered. The business mainly specializes in repairs, replacement glass, replacement components and replacing existing windows and doors in existing openings. Any relevant requirements outside the agreed work will be discussed clearly before the job proceeds.
4. Reporting Genuine Issues & Aftercare
If a genuine problem develops with work completed by West & Wilk Windows, customers are encouraged to get in touch on 07562 359006. The team is happy to inspect and resolve genuine issues connected to its workmanship or covered moving parts in accordance with these warranty terms.
